Went here with my husband and we were able to be seated immediately. I feel like the prices were fair and the food was delicious. We both got the Sampler plate, but I spied on our neighbors plates too and everything I saw looked delicious. Portions were good, my husband was starving when we arrived but he couldn’t finish everything. Pansy was a very friendly and attentive waitress. I love that there are no TV’s here or blaring music. The building is older as you can tell from the ceiling etc, which tells me they’ve been making customers happy there for a long time

This place that has great food, reasonably priced, fast and friendly service, and isn't a chain or franchise. It was excellent! The kids menu filled my young one up, and my meat lovers omelette was great!
Ate here for the first time. 15min wait mostly with several open tables. Sign said hiring several positions including waite staff so probably reason for waiting to be seated. Nostalgic decor, not fancy, kinda down home place. Breakfast was excellent. Had chicken fried steak and eggs. Very good. Biscuit instead of toast. The biscuit was not your typical Southern biscuit but it was very very tasty. Kinda reminded me of a cross between biscuit and sweet yellow cornbread. Coffee was hot and cup was being refilled constantly. Our waitress was very nice/friendly. If in the area I would definitely eat here again.

Wonderful gem in Tomball! Hometown style diner with great food. It is a bit of a "hole-in-the-wall" location, but it is quiet enough to talk and there are nice folks tending the tables. My wife and I love grabbing a traditional breakfast here. The coffee is good and the eggs are cooked just as you order them. They make good biscuits and they know how to cook grits.
I’ve always said I can judge a breakfast spot by their chicken fried steak. Y’all.. this one did not disappoint!! Not only was this plate massive, but it was cooked perfectly!! I was also able to try some French toast and that was amazing as well. This little hole in the wall has some big flavor, and even better service! Stop by if you’re in the area and I promise, you won’t be disappointed.
Delicious food and the service is excellent! Multiple staff checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. I also love the casual atmosphere and friendly environment.
